SAFEGUARDING STATEMENT

Parents should be aware that the school would take any reasonable action to ensure the safety of its students.

In cases where the school has reason to be concerned that a child may be subject to significant harm, ill-treatment, neglect or other forms of abuse, staff have no alternative but to follow SSCB (Sunderland Safeguarding Board Procedures) and inform Children Services Social Care of their concern.

We want to improve our communication with parents, carers and partners. We recognise that we need a variety of methods to feed information. We have started to give brief updates and news on Twitter.

Please follow us at www.twitter.com/St_Aidans_RC

We also have a Facebook page with links to various departments. Please follow St Aidan's Catholic School for news feeds and events.
